About Team Good Beer

Team Good Beer - we are a bunch of fun folk who enjoy good beer. Thus the very clever team name. We promote and support drink and pedal local (support your local brewery and bike shop)! There are many wonderful craft beers (microbrews) out there, never hesitate to try one. While on Ragbrai, you can ask any Team Good Beer member for a bar guide, which will list where you can find the good beers.

The team consist of people mainly from Iowa City, but also has representation from the East Coast, West Coast, Texas, Minnesota, Louisiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Truly a mixed crew all who enjoy a good brew.

What makes a good beer? Well, that is up to the personal palate. After a long day of riding almost any beer is good! We don't consider ourselves beer elitists or snobs, but rather beer connoisseurs. Embrace the local beers and give them a try, you'll be surprised at how many good and different beers are out there!
